Abstract Floral Workshop
The images below show the different stages from start to finish, of an abstract floral painting. This painting is representative of the type of composition we'll be creating in my workshops.
We will be working with acrylics on board, and I will be teaching you an impasto technique to create flowers, using a silicone spatula. We will be building up layers of colour with acrylics, and adding an infusion of texture and metallic highlights to our composition, a feature which has become synonymous with my work. See different stages below.
We will be using various different tools and materials, such as credit cards, fine spatulas, precision tip applicator bottles, masking fluid, water based gutta and metallic pastes.
This workshop is suitable for all artistic abilities, even if you're a complete novice, the methods we'll be using are easy to learn and apply.
